I work as a designer at Wednesday, a small agency with a focus on clients within the fashion industry.
There are days where I wake up at 7am, but I prefer to wake up around 8.15. Once I'm awake it's hard for me to fall asleep again but I'm always up to just lay around for another 5 minutes. I wouldn’t really call myself an early bird because I'm not one of those people who's able to go to the gym or go for a run in the morning.
It’s the standard iPhone alarm sound. Super annoying, but I think that’s what an alarm has to be.
Turn on some music to get in a better mood because I’m the worst person in the morning. I am not much of a talker so the first couple of hours of the day you won't hear me say a lot besides "Where's the fucking L train".
Tea is my go to drink! If I wake up before 8, I drink a mixed fruit tea at home. If I wake up after 8, I go get a Green Tea at the cafe around the corner or when I'm really late I just get an Earl Grey at work, so the kind of Tea I drink kind of depends on how much time I have in the morning, haha. I don't drink coffee that often, but when I do, you'll find me at Stumptown around 3pm for a cappuccino with whipped cream.
I don’t have breakfast every day, but when I do it’s either a toast, some cornflakes or a waffle from Wafels and Dinges (Liege Waffle with banana, strawberry, Nutella, and whipped cream).
I think I do.
Yes and No. No, because I wake up from the smallest noise and when I drink apple juice, well…I just can’t sleep. Yes, because when there is no noise that wakes me up I’m the happiest person.
My own bed, back at home in Belgium.
No annoying noises, the other side of the pillow, you know… the one that’s still cold and fresh, and no worries, I sleep really bad when I’m worried and thinking too much.
Yes - Sleep Cycle.
Generally I don’t. But I have this one dream from my childhood which still pops up every now and then.
A t-shirt and my boxers are fine. In the middle of the winter maybe some long johns.
Made in Sweden.
The most special place to me, is falling asleep next to someone you love. There’s that certain notion of intimacy, trust and warmth that you have to open up for, and I think that is quite special to me. Does that count?
I think some dreams are meant to stay private 😉
