What are you doing during the day?
During the day I am mostly producing digital projects at Elespacio - a small studio here in Barcelona. I also spend a great deal of my time helping out Ivonne at Ada Blackjack. For the rest I usually like to play with my little one, Zowie.
What time do you usually get up?
I usually get up between 7.30 and 8.00. I used to sleep out a lot, but now with my one-year old that´s history. But I actually don't mind, I have more hours to do things.
How does your alarm sound?
Like a hungry baby.
What is the first thing you do in the morning?
Make a bottle for Zowie (my kid) and fill the cat´s bow.
Coffee or tea?
Coffee! I don´t really mind what kind it is as long as it´s coffee.
Do you like having breakfast? And what do you have?
I am a light eater in the morning, I have a toast with jam - same as Zowie.
Do you think you get enough sleep?
After becoming a dad, enough sleep is an over statement.
Would you describe yourself as a good sleeper?
Yes, I guess so. I fall asleep pretty easily, even after getting up at night to change nappies.
Where do you sleep best?
In my own bed.
What are the things you need for a good sleep?
A good blanquet, good pillow and an empty head.
Do you remember your dreams?
Just flashes of it. Most of the times I can just remember the feeling I had during the dream, rather than what it was about.
What are the things on your nightstand?
Usually a book, helps me fall asleep - and a box of wax ear plugs which Ivonne wears at night. Apparently I am a noisy sleeper. Also some flowers and plants to keep the air fresh and the good energy flowing in the bedroom.
Do you care about what you wear for sleeping?
Yes, nothing too heavy and nothing I wore during the day.
Describe your bed in 3 words.
Warm, soft and cosy.
What is the weirdest spot you’ve ever fallen asleep.
I once fell asleep in a 5th century chapel somewhere in North Spain during the Camino de Santiago. Paulo Coelho mentioned it in one of his books and he told a story about a black dog that would haunt the place at night for years. Everyone there said the dog was still around and every pilgrim had a story to tell about the famous animal.
What do you want to dream about tonight?
About a long vacation somewhere beautiful. I need it!
